Elijah is one of the admins, working on the site and he moderates the role play forum. He's for sure the coolest kid in town. (And he totally didn't rape this and say that 'bout himself.)

The exiles.

Imprisoned for something we had no control over. Left to rot by those weaker than us. Forgotten. No, refused to be acknowledged. By humans.

The year was 1913, some man by the name of Thomas R. Marshall figured us all out. The Vice President alongside Woodrow Wilson; he had access to anything he wished. Various files and cases from over the years the man got a hold of, and he took a special interest in certain cases. While he should have been doing duties more geared towards the present and human citizens, Marshall started project 3666. This project was diving head first into those cold cases of.. Unnatural occurrences. Supernatural you could say. Marshall knew something wasn't right.

Not everyone covered their tracks. They found out what we are.

It only took a few months before Marshall gathered enough solid evidence to appeal for his project. A few more months of court and trials and he won. It was over for us. Us. Immortals. We were the causes of those supernatural occurrences. We didn't take caution with our actions. Now we pay.

Project 3666 entailed anyone possessive of inhuman qualities be imprisoned until further action be taken. Punished for what we are. For being different. Ridiculous guidelines were put forth in order to find immortal beings. Hyped up security and rigorous tests. No one went unnoticed, they got us.

Shipped us off to an unfamiliar place. Transported in special train cars created to contain our powers. No teleportation to far off places. No super strength to break our way out. No magic. No nothing. Helpless and at the mercy of humans we were. Shaw Island was our destination. The innermost of the San Juan islands in Washington State. No public transportation was provided to go in or get out. A prison was built for us. A cement compound. Like the train cars we were powerless. They treated us like we were monsters, serving food through steel bars and wearing heavy protective gear if they had to get even a quarter of a mile near to us without protection of cement or metal barriers.

For thirty three years we lived in our own filth. Without any luxury. Our needs met so minimally some didn't survive. Now of course not every immortal within the vast reaches of the earth was gathered in just 33 years, so only a few hundred were contained. Out of at the most 500 immortals only 384 lived to see liberation. A variation of different creatures, vampires, werewolves, angels, demons, etc.

The year was 1946. America was shocked and appalled by the holocaust and treatment of the Jews. Little did they know America was funding a similar situation, their imprisonment of supernatural beings. Normal citizens had no idea still, it was a top secret endeavor. However one man decided even if it was kept secret there was a chance they'd be found out. How Germany was attacked for the holocaust and strong hate was borne to them scared Fred M. Vinson. The chief of justice.

By some fluke he freed us. Finally freedom. Freedom from the punishment we didn't deserve.

Not off the hook yet, harsh laws kept us still contained. Sure we weren't trapped in a prison but the government still didn't want us around. It was imperative citizens knew they could be safe at night. They couldn't know we were around. A law was set in place stating we were to never leave the borders of Washington state.

Since then we've been forced to integrate into human society, obey their laws and do their jobs. A small town known as Seabrook has a growing population of immortals living in secret, associating with the humans as citizens but at the same time being exclusive. A group home set just outside of town homes a number of immortals.

We can be us again.
